Self guided Sit on Top Kayaks - or Guided Canoe Trips

As described these trips are you going independently. We give you enough instructions to keep you safe and away you go on either

the SHORT SPLASH (5km) or METROLINK (10km).

You need to be 'water confident' and have the ability to sit upright for between 1 and 3 hrs. You need to be the judge of this!!

We always encourage you to book on with another grown up but you can book alone as usually other groups are booked on as well. We do not however want a single adult and child under 10 ( even on a double kayak) if something goes 'wrong' with you we would like another adult with you.

THERE MUST ALSO BE MINIMUM 1 ADULT... a group of unaccompanied teenagers can't be booked on!!

We do not offer "self-guided" trips in what folk refer to as a traditional canoe as if on the unlikely event that you capsize we want to be there to help empty the boat and get you back in ( a sit on top is easy as you just flip it over)..

As demand for guided trips in canoes ( or a mixture of canoe /sit on top kayak) is low these are arranged by request from you when you have a minimum of 6 people. Send us a message via CONTACT US
